We remind you that you can find the necessary materials for online training and self-examination during the quarantine at ONMedU at the link of the Methodological materials of departments, testing – https://moodle.odmu.edu.ua/

All students and teachers also have the opportunity to download the necessary documents from the electronic catalog of ONMedU Library using the login and password obtained at the Student Library (for students) and the ONMedU Computing Center from engineer Sumskii O.N. (for teachers)

History of our library 

        Our library was founded in 1903 by third year students of medical faculty in Novorossisk University. The personal funds were most definite expenses for it.

       The Odessa Medical Institute was founded in 1920 using the basis of medical faculty in Novorossisk University. The students' library became the part of ОMI the same time like the medical faculty of Novorossisk University (by name  I.I.Mechnikov) has been joined. Orthopedic surgeon B.M.Fonarev was the first manager of OMI steady-state library.

          For years the funds of library accumulated great scientific values: degree’s dissertations, the monography, medical writings’ compendium,destiny of scientific literature, treatment’n’prophylactic institutions, textbooks and methodical manuals, periodicals etc.

       The so-called fund of secondary documents, information and abstract issuings makes an important part of collection, so necessary for support of scientific researches.

          The library appeals for students, teachers, scientific and practical medical workers, and also experts interfacing to medicine of sciences.

           Our library’s history is outlined in a good way by  pages of book “Knowledge Treasury”, which has been issued for the 100 anniversary of ОMI’s library 1903-2003).
